Queensland is a late-spring beauty with rose-pink flowers edged in a delicate fringe. The finely textured edge catches the light and gives the blooms an almost jewel-like finish. It is a lovely way to add a little movement and detail among fuller double tulips, and the flowers are wonderful for cutting.

Planting & Care
Plant your tulip bulbs in fall, ideally about 4–6 weeks before the ground freezes.
- Light: Full sun is best; light afternoon shade is fine.
- Soil: Choose well-drained soil. Tulip bulbs dislike sitting in wet soil.
- Depth: Plant approximately 6–8 inches deep, measured from the base of the bulb.
- Spacing: Plant approximately 4–6 inches apart. For a fuller display, plant in groups or generous drifts.
- After flowering: Remove spent flower heads, but leave the foliage in place until it has yellowed naturally. This allows the bulb to store energy for next spring.
