As they age the bright yellow fades to a soft buttery yellow. Plant it near a path, patio or cutting garden where its early-season colour and perfume can be enjoyed up close.

Planting & Care
Plant your tulip bulbs in fall, ideally about 4–6 weeks before the ground freezes.
- Light: Full sun is best; light afternoon shade is fine.
- Soil: Choose well-drained soil. Tulip bulbs dislike sitting in wet soil.
- Depth: Plant approximately 6–8 inches deep, measured from the base of the bulb.
- Spacing: Plant approximately 4–6 inches apart. For a fuller display, plant in groups or generous drifts.
- After flowering: Remove spent flower heads, but leave the foliage in place until it has yellowed naturally. This allows the bulb to store energy for next spring.
